To create L'Or Rouge, Artisans du Levant chose an organic Sencha green tea harvested in Japan, renowned for its delicacy and vegetal freshness. To this exceptional base are added ingredients emblematic of Armenia: our saffron grown on the Ararat plain, Damask rose, cornflower and everlasting flower, local flowers carefully selected for their aromatic quality. Every cup thus tells the story of a dialogue between two great botanical traditions.
The Sencha brings delicate vegetal notes. The saffron reveals a warm, subtly honeyed touch. Damask rose adds floral sweetness, while cornflower and everlasting flower extend the tasting with their delicate accents. Together they compose a balanced, naturally refined infusion.
Thanks to green tea, L'Or Rouge provides gradual, lasting energy. Naturally rich in L-theanine, Sencha promotes a gentler, steadier sense of alertness than coffee, without the spikes of excitement followed by a crash. Its natural richness in polyphenols and antioxidants also makes it an ideal companion for a wellness break at any time of day.
The flowers that make up L'Or Rouge are sourced from partner Armenian producers, notably Nairi, who locally grows Damask rose and champions the country's native floral species. By combining these ingredients with saffron from its own plot at the foot of Mount Ararat, Artisans du Levant celebrates Armenia's botanical richness while supporting the development of local, responsible agricultural supply chains.
