Nicknamed "the champagne of teas", Darjeeling is grown on the slopes of the Himalayas, at altitudes ranging from 600 to over 2,000 metres. Its cool climate, morning mists and mountain soils give rise to a black tea of remarkable finesse, prized for its floral, lightly woody and subtly muscatel notes. Its elegant character makes it one of the most prestigious origins in the world.
To this exceptional base are added ingredients carefully selected with a great tea house. The velvety sweetness of peach answers the rosy notes of lychee, while almond brings a touch of bitterness. Finally, Damask rose and Armenian saffron extend the tasting with their floral, spiced elegance. A composition in which every ingredient naturally finds its place between strength and softness.
Naturally richer in caffeine than green tea, black tea is valued for its stimulating power while offering a more gradual release than coffee. Ideal at breakfast, L'Or Bleu accompanies moments that call for energy, focus and clarity of mind, all while retaining the elegance proper to great teas.
The saffron and flowers that make up L'Or Bleu come from supply chains developed in Armenia by Artisans du Levant and its partners. By combining an organic Grand Cru Darjeeling with the botanical riches of the Caucasus, this creation celebrates the meeting of two exceptional terroirs and the dialogue between know-how from different horizons.
