Small in size, big on flavour

Grown in the fertile soils of the Ararat plain, our strawberries are small, exceptionally fragrant fruit, close to the Gariguette in their aromatic finesse and gentle brightness. Hand-picked through the harvests, they are selected at full ripeness, when their flesh is brimming with flavour and their fragrance is fully expressed.

A cook that respects the fruit

Like all Artisans du Levant jams, Délice de Fraises is made by hand, in small batches, in copper cauldrons. A short, carefully controlled cook, little sugar and no additives at all: just what is needed to preserve the fruit's vivid colour, generous texture and full aromatic intensity, without ever masking its flavour.

Local know-how

A few kilometres from the orchards, the strawberries are then entrusted to Vahé, a passionate craftsman and discerning gastronome, who also transforms other treasures of Armenia's terroirs, from Meghri figs to mountain plums. The jars are hot-filled after sterilisation. From freshly picked fruit to finished jar, every step remains deeply rooted in Armenia.

Tasting notes

A vivid red colour. A generous texture, dotted with pieces of fruit. An intensely fruity palate, where the strawberry's sweetness meets a touch of freshness and tang. A delicate finish that lingers with the memory of a strawberry just picked.

Did you know?

Nicknamed ‘the orchard of Armenia’, the Ararat plain is one of the country's most fertile lands. Its rich, generous soils, combined with intense sunshine and water drawn from the mountains — springs, rivers and melting snow — have nourished its orchards for generations. Apricots, peaches, pomegranates, grapes, plums and fragrant little strawberries grow there in abundance, making this plain a true garden at the foot of Mount Ararat.
